A perfect Summer celebration.

There are wedding days that unfold with a certain effortless elegance—where the setting, the people, and the energy all align. This summer celebration at Le Belvédère in Wakefield was exactly that kind of day: refined, deeply heartfelt, and pulsing with just the right amount of bold, unforgettable moments.

From the second I arrived, it was obvious that this couple brought pure energy to everything they touched. And when the couple met at the end of the aisle, surrounded by sun-soaked cliffs and that iconic Belvédère backdrop, the emotion was unmistakable—equal parts joy, excitement, and “let’s start this adventure already.”

But the real fun began at cocktail hour. Most couples choose a formal entrance at the beginning of their reception, but these two decided after their portraits in the middle of the cocktail hour was a better time to start the party. They ran up the ramp and surprised their guests with a full-on champagne spray showering the air (and each other) in the process. All this energy to kick off the evening made for some of my favourite candid images of the day.

Later came the reception, kicking off with a martini tower that sparked excitement all around. Guests gathered, eyes bright, as drinks were poured and toasts were made. It had a playful, celebratory energy that invited everyone to join the fun. That moment felt like a promise: this night was theirs, and it was going to be unforgettable.

As the evening deepened, the two of them stepped into the glow of sparklers for their first dance. The lights dimmed, the sparklers flared — and there they were, swaying together, full of quiet joy and big emotion. In that shimmer of light, time seemed to pause for a second; it felt dreamy and real at the same time.

This Le Belvédère summer wedding was a blend of elegance and electricity—the softness of summer paired with bold, joyful celebration. A day built on genuine connection, beautiful details, and a love that was impossible not to feel.
