Since moving to Quebec, I have heard endless great things about Wakefield. It’s a picturesque Quebec town (and it’s just down the road from me!). It’s quickly become one of my favourite spots. Erin and Hugo chose to have some Wakefield Engagement photos done as it’s one of their favourite spots too.
Erin and Hugo remembered renting a houseboat on the Gatineau River situated right in the middle of Wakefield so they decided to do it again for the engagement session. Which I was really excited about – I’m definitely a fan of unique engagement shoots in places that hold memories. It makes for so much more then just pretty pictures. And as years go by, meaningful photos are always a lot more fun to look back on.
After a few photos in and around the houseboat, we took the short drive to Morrison’s Quarry in Chelsea. I didn’t really realize I had such gorgeous places within 20 minutes of my house but I’m really happy about it.
