Codes Mill on the Park wedding
Fingers crossed that I get to shoot another Codes Mill on the Park wedding – and that the wedding will have a couple just like Lindsay and Rudi – because their wedding was perfect. Okay, so maybe it was the coldest wedding day I’ve ever photographed (During portraits, it felt like 34 below!) but that really didn’t stop these two from smiling big, looking incredible and having the best day ever.
I really believe no weather can ruin a wedding day – in fact, with a great attitude and adventurous spirit – the weather can be part of an amazing memory. For my own wedding, I was married on one of the windiest days on a hilltop in Wales and I loved the energy of it all.
Lindsay and Rudi’s day may have been freezing cold, but it will make for an amazing memory. Plus, the fresh snow looked beautiful and the blistery January weather and evening snowstorm made the reception all the more cozy.
Thank you so much to Lindsay & Rudi for being 100% amazing all day. Your families were so warm and welcoming from the minute we arrived (a wonderful contrast to the wintery outdoors). We are so grateful that you asked us to capture this perfect day.
