Where are you based out of?
I am based out of Ottawa, Ontario. (Well, to be specific – Aylmer, Quebec! But the majority of my weddings are Ottawa-based.). I photograph weddings all over Ontario & Quebec (& occasionally beyond!).
How long have you been shooting weddings?
I shot my first wedding in 2008. I’ve been capturing weddings for four years full-time.
Will you help us with our timeline?
Of Course! I will help in any way I can to ensure you have the best experience all day. I’m not a wedding planner, but I’m happy to help create a schedule that allows for great photos and minimal stress.
How many images will we receive?
You can expect to receive a minimum of 600 edited, high resolution images. Sometimes it can be a little more, depending on your wedding. Big families, large guest lists or a lot of time for portraits can sometimes mean a little more than the 600).
How long does it take after the wedding for the photos to be delivered?
6-8 weeks after your wedding date.
Do we have to purchase the photos you take above and beyond the collection rate?
Nope! You pay for my services and that includes the printable image files delivered via downloadable online gallery. I always recommend to couples to use our professional printing series so that you’re images stand the test of time, but you are also welcome to print anywhere you like. (Just note – I cannot guarantee colour or quality of the finished project printed outside our lab.)
Will you watermark the images?
Definitely not! This kind of goes hand-in-hand with the previous question. I know some photographers watermark their images so that you can purchase the final photo (unwatermarked) after the photos have been delivered, however my packages include all the printable image files.
If we book you as photographer, can we also book videography?
Absolutely – my husband, Liam (www.rowlandfilms.com) is our videographer and you’re welcome to add any of his videography packages to any photography package. We love working together to document wedding days! Keep in mind, Liam takes a limited number of videos each season, so if you’re interested, I would get in touch soon.
How quickly do you book up?
I’m usually pretty booked up for the season by January. That being said, it’s always worth checking you’re date is free. Saturdays in September & October tend to be the busiest and book up first!
We want to book! What’s next?
Just send me an email! 🙂 Get in touch and tell me about your wedding and your wedding date. I will check to see if I’m available! Your date isn’t reserved until you officially book me as your photographer, so it’s always best to complete your booking as soon as you’re sure I’m the photographer for you! A signed contract and a retainer is due to reserve your date.
