Downtown Ottawa Engagement
When scheduling Krysta and Jason’s shoot in March, I recommended a Downtown Ottawa Engagement session because this city is beautiful whatever the weather decides to do. And March is one of those months that could feel like winter one day and summer the next, so shooting in the middle of the city is always a favourite (and more predictable) place to shoot. Krysta and Jason were happy with the idea as it would be a nice contrast to their summer wedding in Stittsville.
Thankfully for us, it was the day before Spring and the weather was warm(ish!). The sun even decided to come out, so we took full advantage and wandered the streets. We started around The Fairmont Chateau Laurier. After this, we decided to stop for a drink in the Moscow Tea Room on Sussex Drive. We ended with a quick wander around the pedestrianized courtyard of the Byward Market for a couple more photos.
This was definitely one of those engagement shoots that makes me want wedding season to come a little sooner.
Anytime now, Summer!
